What you'll need to get set up
We do the setup for you. Here's what we'll need from you, and the small carrier fees that come with business texting.
1. Your business details (about 5 minutes)
After you sign up, we'll email you a short form for your business name, address, hours, services, and Google review link.
2. A 30-minute setup call
Pick a time Monday to Friday, 4 to 8 PM Eastern. We'll connect your number, Google reviews, website chat, and payments with you on the call.
3. A business texting number
A local business phone number costs $1.15 per month.
Can I keep using my own cell phone?
Yes. Calls to your new business number ring straight to your cell, so you answer like you always do. If you miss a call, the system texts the caller back from your business number. You can also set your cell to forward unanswered calls to your business number, so missed-call text-back works when people call your cell too. Already have a business line you want to keep? We can usually move it over instead of getting a new one. Texts from the system are sent from your business number, not from your personal cell.
4. Texting registration (A2P 10DLC)
US carriers require every business that sends texts to register. It's a one-time $22.50 registration fee, plus a campaign fee of about $1.50 to $10 per month depending on your business type. Approval usually takes a few business days.
5. Usage fees
Each text and call has a small carrier usage charge, based on how much you send. These carrier fees are passed through at cost, with no markup.
6. Your own Stripe account
For Text-to-Pay, you'll connect your own free Stripe account, so payments go straight to you. Stripe charges its standard card processing fees.

No. It's month to month and you can cancel anytime by email or phone.

We'll go over the options for your existing business number during your demo and setup.
How do I access my messages?
Through a web-based inbox you can open in a browser on your computer or phone.
Policies
Refund & Cancellation Policy
LocalText Pro offers two plans: Local Business Booster, billed at $700 per month, and Website + Booster, billed at $1,000 per month or $10,000 per year. Both plans include the software and setup services, and the terms below apply to both plans. You can cancel anytime by emailing [email protected] or calling 914-561-9145; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further charges are made. If you are not satisfied, request a refund within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund. Later payments are non-refundable.
Terms of Service
LocalText Pro provides business texting, missed-call text-back, review requests, web chat and related setup services to local businesses on a monthly subscription. Customers agree to use texting features only to contact people who have given consent and to follow applicable laws, including TCPA and carrier rules. Service may be suspended for abuse or non-payment. Results such as reviews or booked jobs are not guaranteed.
Privacy Policy
We collect only the contact details you provide (name, business, email, phone) to deliver the service and respond to you. We never sell your information. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers. To request deletion of your data, email [email protected].
